PLANT PROFILE
*** Easy to grow and manage, dry and heat tolerant and low maintenance - The perfect solution for todays climate***

Callistemons (commonly known as Bottlebrushes) are very popular, easy to grow Australian natives.

Gardeners who are in the market for a hedge with a difference need look no further than Callistemon 'Great Balls of Fire'.

Growing to a height of 1.75m with a spread of 1.5m, C. 'Great Balls of Fire' was bred for its particularly dense compact habit and the intense red hues of it's new emerging growth. These two features make it an exceptional choice for hedging or singularly as an eye-catching feature in any garden.

Ornamental year round, C. 'Great Balls of Fire' makes a fantastic structural addition to native or exotic gardens alike.

• Ornamental hedging

• Will grow well in containers as well as gardens

• Small gardens, patios and courtyards

• Native or bush style gardens

• Year round interest from foliage ideal for permanent structure in landscapes

• Great for coastal regions

CULTURAL CARE
Select a sunny location in most soil types that are well drianing. An addition of a complete native fertiliser will encourage lush and colourful new growth as well as add to overall performance.
A light trim to shape during late winter and again in mid summer will encourage a dense habit and lenghty display of foliage colour. For hedging space plants up to 50cm apart.

Bred by well known and respected breeder Rex Trimble.
