| The Salvia 'Heatwave'series was introduced as a direct response to the current hot and dry climate that faces many Australian gardeners. Salvias have a great reputation as a waterwise family that thrive in sunshine and dry, open soils.
This series is a compact range, in comaprison to many other Salvias that have a tendency to spead and become leggy. The tighter foliage of the Heatwave series allows them to feature more prominently in the garden, providing colour right throughout the warmer months.
The evergreen, aromatic foliage is also a welcome addition to the garden.
The Salvia 'Heatwave' collection currently includes 5 varieties.

After a main lowering flush trim the plant by half to encourage further flowering and a denser habit.
