| B. 'Summer Cascade' is a new, weeping form of river birch that was discovered by John and Daniel Allen at Shiloh Nursery in Harmony, North Carolina, USA. The tree has a unique, pendulous habit with graceful arching branches. If untrained, the plant forms a mounded shrub or small tree with successive layers of arching branches. Alternatively, the plant can be staked/trained with a central trunk and pendulous branches. This selection is quick growing reaching up to 1.8m in one growing season. A great addition to the Australian garden.

| B. 'Summer Cascade' is ideal for use as a specimen tree or focal point, particularly with water features, or for use in group plantings or creative design elements including bonsai.
Great to create a contrasting effect with other trees in a landscape which are more upright in habit. 'Summer Cascade' is a suitable size for residential properties where space may be at a premium. An excellent specimen for public spaces where it may be planted alone or in groups or clumps with stunning results.
