PLANT PROFILE
Dianella ‘Little Devil’ is a new form selected for its distinctive new red growth, strong upright habit and stunning blue berries after flowering.

Ideal for use in those hot spots or containers as very little water or maintenance is required once established.

D. 'Little Devil' offers architectural, upright foliage which makes a great native alternative to New Zealand Flax (Phormiums).

One of the most drought tolerant, adaptable Australian native plants available which suits both commercial and residential landscaping uses.

Dianella varieties have been used in the landscape sector for many years and this new improved form will certainly add to these existing varieties with its red new growth being a stunning feature en masse.

This plant will also make a fabulous home garden specimen for use those hot spots or containers as very little water or maintenance will be required once established.

'Little Devil' tolerates difficult sites such as reflected heat from hard surfaces such as paving, concrete or ashphalt. Resiliant against wind and salt in coastal regions. Hardy for poolside landscaping.

CULTURAL CARE
Best grown in fertile well drained soil in full sun to part shade. No pruning generally required other than to tidy (such as spent flower stems).

Dry tolerant although regular watering should be given during dry periods in first year to establish a healthy root system. The clumps will then become mostly self reliant requiring little attention.
