PLANT PROFILE
|
| Agapanthus "Baby Pete" is a superior new dwarf form of Agapanthus. It has been selected for many commercial, consumer and environmental attributes.A major feature is that A.'Baby Pete' reaches a maximum foliage height of only 20cm tall with flower stems reaching to around 35cm long and only 15-20cm above foliage. Therefore in full flower A. 'Baby Pete' extends to a maximum height of only 40-45cm. Another important attribute is that A. 'Baby Pete' is totally sterile. After years of trialing no viable seed has been observed. This is a massive issue with this genus making A. 'Baby Pete' environmentally friendly ensuring it will be available for many years to come whilst other varieties will no longer be grown.Bred in Australia. |
